Unhappy Best Cpu for Encoding

Hi Guys I Just Bought a celereon 2.8ghz and i was wondering which proccesor would be better for encoding dvd movies from these two

AMD Athlon Xp 2400+
Or da celeron
2.8ghz i want

For which Processor is best for video encoding

i dont think processors are measured that way jus pick wichever one u think is faster, more stable, ect.

celeron? jeeze iono.. i mean pentiums are better for this kinda thing, but i dunno about celerons.. either way i think most people are gonna reply celerons

if ur going with intel, go with a pentium 4. or if you only had the choice from amd athlon xp 2400+ or celeron, i would go with the amd 2400
