Well, I was wondering what the benefits of ocing are. Like, I know it gives better performance, but would I really need that at the time being if I'm on 1200 dollar budget(*hint hint a little help?*)? Thanks!
Most people do mild overclocks to make thier processor equal to one that's higher than the one they paid for. Most of these overclocks barely touch the life of the processor because of the minimal voltage increases.
As for others, it's all about seeing how much you can possibly get out of the processor. Guilty as charged... Well, I will be once I get a stable power supply.
