What program should i use to test my video card overclock?

also, what is the difference between overclocking your video card memory, and then the clock speed, because right now i got my 9600se at 430 clock, and 240 mem. My mem wont go higher w/o articafts, but my clock just keeps goin....

it's the Core speed. The speed of the GPU compared the speed of the memory Generally the Core can be overclocked a lot higher than the Memory, but it's OC'ing the memory that offers the most performance gain

thanks... my 9600 se ended its engine overclock at 500, so i bumped it down to 480. So i ended up with a final over clock of 480/240 (not bad for an SE starting at 324/195)

Damn ak, that's a nice OC. the most widely used benchmark tools are aquamark3 and 3dmark 03.
