Gaming Box: Attempt Two

Ok, got some good advice from here and elsewhere, so here is my 2nd attempt.

I realized I didn't have to buy Windows again. I have a copy I can use, so I used the money to upgrade to 2 gigs of RAM. I also took the DFI mobo instead of the ASUS. I switched to an EVGA 128MB 6600GT over a ASUS 256MB 6600. A lot of people said that was a good move... can someone explain why?

The DFI board only has 4 SATA slots, but I guess that's ok. Right now I'll only have the DVD Burner and a HD hooked up to it. Maybe another HD in the future.

Also, if there's anything I'm forgetting, or if you have any specific reccomendations about a case, let me know.

The 6600 is half the speed basicly of the 6600GT, but has more (slower) ram to make people think it's better

You only need 1 gig of ram, I was going to recomend the twinmos ram, but it just dissipeared off of newegg? It would be better to spend your money on better ram rather than more, so you can overclock your system
