Default Ati Radeon x1900xt fan RPM

I heard that it goes up to 5,000 rpm, is this true? and if so, what is the normal rpm it runs at? it there a way I can change it to what i want manually?

a small 40 to 80mm fan would easly get to 5000rpm..............

I don't think you can change the speed manualy, MAYBE you can.. i'll know in a couple of days when I recive mine .

I would suppose that its normal speed is somewhere in the 3k RPM creating 25dBA or so...

Either way just get an aftermarket cooler.
