hehe its alright man, i freaked when i saw the temp when i first got my 2600+ 2 years ago. its everyones (at least some ppl) mistake when getting an XP cpu.

keep it below 60 C thats the max otherwise 45 F is good

dam it just seemed weird i guess im runnin pretty cool for an amd, but you do you say its a mistake to get athlon xp's?

their still a pretty good deal for the price, but not that much anymroe because i paid 80$ for my 2600+ last time i checked it was the same and a low end 939 is only 150$ so yea, but for the person who needs to upgrade from a p3 500 it seemed the best deal i could get.
