Amd X2 Processor Drivers Required?

i was just wondering if i need to download the amd x2 drivers from the amd site...it says it automatically adjusts the settings according to use, but im overclocking..is there any other need for these drivers or should i stay away?

there aren't really any necessary drivers as long as you have a minimum of windows xp home sp2 (professional is exempt).

You need to install that. It's a hotfix for dual cores. Some games will act funny without it among other things. So in essence, yes there are drivers for the CPU's, but it's not like motherboard drivers in the sense they are needed just for some components to run.
