AMD Board

I have completed my intel node. I now am going straight into AMD. What is known as the best AMD board for a Athlon 64 fx-55? I assume it will be either an Abit or Asus platform.

Abit 3rd Eye AV8. The Asus A8V Deluxe is not bad either. MSI has a kick-butt one too, though I forget the name.

Just be careful man, get a good CPU fan because those AMD's run HOT.

Also when going AMD try get the new socket 939 not the old 754 one,
939 is the way to go now.

As for the best board for the FX55 it would have to be the MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum. Most overclockers use this board to get top 3dmarks on a single graphics card.

I second that i use the Msi K8n Neo 2 Platinum the board rules man. I have no compatability errors or anything. The second choise is a Asus A8v Deluxe which also does ok. Im not sure about the Abit board, not many people use it.
