Default Air flow set up

Well i was just wondering what set up your fans are in.

intake
120mm fan in the front
80mm fan on the side panel

exaust
2 80mm fans

psu
2 80mm fans are in it

i have my side panel fan and one of my exaust fans on a fan controller

INTAKE -
1x 140mm front fan
2x 80mm front intake fans
2x 120mm side fans

EXAUST -
1x 120mm
1x PCI slot exaust.

I have 2 120mm fans in and 3 more 80mm fans in. None out.

(try not to have fans mounted in the side(it messes up the airflow)

so are you going for a whirl wind affect?? usually people say that you should always have exhaust along with intake.

You're absolutely correct. Personally, i think the ratio of intake:exhaust should be minimum 1:1 (i.e 120mm intake + 120mm exhaust).

I've got a 120mm exhaust on the back, with an 80mm intake on the side panel, and a 120mm (ThermalTake Blue Orb) CPU fan. Works fine for me

A little heavy on the intake, but other than that, "overboard" only means "wanting a cool comp."

lol well i only did the 2 80mm intakes as a case mod because i was bored and they look kinda cool (2 80mm fans to replace 2 drive bays)
