AH pc boot help plz

I duno what happned this morning my NV silencer cam in the mail my pc was running fine i turned it off took out my 6800GT put on the silencer booted up my pc now it goe's to the windows logo the bar loads then it just goes black any idea what this is iv tried a number of things bios reboot repair windows xp but i dun wanna loose all my stuff and windows wont let me repair

ok well make it so that windows will load up and go to ur desktop so take off all ur passwords and only have 1 user assuming u have xp. then turn ur speakers on and see if it goes on without the video card if not then and u load windows then its prolly ur psu. if it doesnt then take it off and see what happens without the silencer
