AGP Fast Write and OCing

AGP Fast Write

I have read that if you are not overclocking then you should ENABLE AGP Fast Write and DISABLE it if you are going to OC. With AGP Fast Write disabled can you reach a higher OC? If not then why is it suggested to disable it when OCing?

I don't really know wtf i'm talking about but i'm assuming it puts a lot less stress on the card and makes it a bit more stable.
