after stock CPU Cooler!!??

what would people recommend as a good after stock cpu cooler?

i was looking at at the zalman range. but is there a better manufacturer?

please post recommendations of specific iitems if posible!

what socket? The zalman 9500 and Thermaltake Big Typhoon are the best i think, but I still swear by my thermalright xp120 even though its over a year old now.

I vote for a smaller Zalman because those huge ones aren't necessary. The AMD Athlon 64's all hit thier plateau before heat becomes a problem. I'd buy whatever looks the coolest. This one, for instance...

id say TT or the zalman i got the zalman and i love it, very quiet

Zalman 9500. Its a monster but it does its job... and it looks really cool. But if you dont want something that big, get one of the smaller Zalman. Zalman is the way to go.
