Advise on oc

Info please? Have a p805d and a pc-chips p23g 3.0 mainboard, ddr400 giel ram 6800 graphics agp, 500watt ps. I bought on the cheap as a combo board has alot of features, over-clocking difficult other than hyperboost in setup. Wont go over 300 from 133 cpu runs at 3ghz from 2.66 There is another board asrock 775-dualvista from newegg. Don't know how to overclock other than what I tried already,The reviews on both boards say they have been oc higher but with sacrifices to 333 ram with 805d on the asrock board, and cpu limit with the pc-chips. I'm not looking to go all the way, just 3.8 or so. Any advise?

oi, your wording makes my head hurt... are you going into the bios when you try and overclock?
