ultra has volt mods, and silicon reworks..

it uses less power, and runs cooler. and you can also get more memory and core clocks out of it. the GPU's are also hand selected

though you were going with a 2900XT?

if i were to go it over again. i'd prob have gotten a pair of those in Crossfire on a P5k deluxe

got a question for you guys...
how does crossfire work on a mobo when it only has 1 X pci express slot?

sorry that this might be a stupid question?

its just like SLi you need a crossfire ready motherboard w/ 2,3, or 4 PCI-e x16 slots

and i was gonna go crossfire....

but i had some financial crap just the other day.. and i had to sell off some stuff.. but i'm getting the most of my money back and then some next friday

so i was wondering if i should get a gtx, ultra, or 2 gt's... also gonna be picking up a q6600 a week or two later after my graphics card... so imma be stuck on a laptop probably for the next 3 weeks

2,3,4???
i thought the max a mobo could have is 2 PCI X 16 slots?

And mgcook said that he would go crossfire on a p5k deluxe...doesnt that have only 1 pci express X 16 slot?

umm, there are already boards with 3 slots (680i's) and a tri-crossfire and quad crossfire board will be coming out soon enough from AMD

and i didnt know p5k deluxe was crossfire?
