Thats a lofty overclock. If evga is selling 700/2000 cards, im hoping the stock cards are able to overclock just as well. HURRY UP FRY'S I WANT MY CARDS.

assuming the shaders of the G80 and G82 have the same performance per clock, the 8800 GT should be 1.4227642276422764227642276422767 times as good at 750MHZ as the 8800 GTS at 615MHZ

(750 x 112) / (615 x 96)

I hope 750MHZ is easily attainable on 88000 GT's

i wonder if the stock clock cards will overclock better than the factory overclocked?
i.e. max oc of factory oc is like 750ish and max of stock card (600) is in the same neighborhood or more.
i hope so, too. i got a stock card with those hopes in mind.
EDIT:
just read a review that shows the asus card to o.c. (stable) to 718/1083/1795 from 600/900/1500. DANG. i will try to beat that...thats a hefty overclock, man. it also shows excellent performance (as usual). i think you guys who are gonna want to do crysis at anything other than 1280 x 1024 are going to have to SLI...based on demo benchmarks.
here's the article:
DriverHeaven.net: Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT's

bear in mind that the test system is also running Vista...i think crysis dx9 performance will be pretty darn good with this card. i dont plan on changing my OS in the near future...
