8800 GTX power

7k is a good score? lol wow i guess i forgot what i got with my 7800. i thought it was like high 6K's without any overclocking. guess its been too long lol :]] so bascially theres nothing wrong with my card and i should just shut up and be happy? lol its just that i get about 5 FPS in everquest 2. i thought the 8800 GTX would do it easy lol.

7k with a 7800 would be an unbefreakinleavable 3dmark06 score! def used the 8800GTX for that. I just broke 6100 with my voltmoded 7900GT

7k is not an 8800gtx score... 7k is a x1950 STOCK kinda score.. i got 7500 in 3dmark06 with my x1950 running stock speeds...gtx scores would be 9000-11,000

i'll have to say your cpu..... these 8 series seem to be very cpu hungry.. maybe that is your bottleneck...

i easily hit 7.5k with my x1950xtx and e6600... you should be hitting at least 8.5 with that setup... maybe you need to uninstall your old drivers... i noticed the geforce 8's have their own drivers.. so give that shot

yep, the cpu is most likely what is holding you back. SO Nosboost how does oblivion play on that 6800gs.
