Default 7800GT Overclocking

I don't really care about overclocking my AMD X2 chip, since in all reality CPUs play a lower roll in running video games, but I am interested in OCing my GPU, I have heard of software that OCs the GPU for you, but I have no idea where to find it or if it is safe, anyone here got any ideas?

you need to go into rivatuner

and adjust the settings manually

however if you dont diable the safe clock test, it will not let you overclock it too high.

and if you confused when i talk about a test disable dont worry about it. You wont accidentally turn it off.

Does OCing give that much of an advantage to a 7800GT, and in all truth, can it damage the card if i go to high, or should i just not worry about it until they come out with a game that can cause the card some trouble?

Where do you disable the safe clock test?
