7800gt cooling

whats the best after market cooling for the 7800gt? PnY model also the aftermarket gpu's only cover the gpu itself and the stock covers the gpu/and memeory chips, when you apply the little heatsinks with the aftermarket cooler is that adequet enough to cool it? like on a zalmans

so my main questions whats the best gpu cooler and are the heatsinks provded with the cooler on the link io have provided good enough to keep my card cooler than the stock cooling?

how is the fatality? is it actually good or am i just paying for the looks and name? it looks the same as the rest of the zalman coolers just red thats all.

is this paste just as good at AS5? this is the only one they have in stock my priace range

i us ethis on my 7800gt and have found it to be very good. a drop of around 8-9 degrees under load.

no need to go for the fatal1ty cooler, just pick up the vf-700-cu. Also, stick with Arctic Silver 5; its less expensive and is the best out there. PTS has the for the VF-700cu same price as Xoxide but AS5 for a buck less. They also have the VF700-alcu for 25 bucks. Im not too sure what the performance difference is between the alcu and cu, but they both seem to be good.

well the fatalt1y has a fatser rpm when connected to 12volts giving better cooling

the alcu has substancially worse performance. it is well worth getting the all copper. also if the differance between faltality and non is under $10 its worth it
