Default 6800GS overclocks!

I just was wondering who had the highest score in 3dmark05 on the forum with thier 6800GS.

So far the highest I could do without getting to warm or artifacting was 6310. That was done at 539/1200. Right now im on stock cooling so I'm pretty limeited. I'll be switching to watercooling in the next month then I should have some fun.

So everyone tell me your best score!!

Becuase its a pain in the a**. Am I hurting something with this thread? Jeez, asking questions and making threads is what forums are all about. I understand searching is a good thing but if nobody posted threads there wouldnt be many search results and threads to look at now would there?

so how much a NOTICEABLE difference is actually made in such OCs? Is the fps gain more that 10fps?

yes, it can be a lot more than 10FPS in some situations......or maybe you were getting 40FPS at medium settings before, and now you get 40FPS but it's at high settings. Stuff like that. Of course it takes a pretty good overclock to get really noticeable results.
