I tried to find something about this on google but failed.
Does anyone know of a site that goes into the details of succesfully taking the heatsink off a 6800 card? I'd like to take it off and apply some better thermal compound to see if I can push it further.
My new cooling system owns and I'd like to do this just to see how awesome I can overclock my card.
My cooling system consists of open case + 18 inch fan blowing into the case, lowered the temperatures a great deal (I only turn on the fan in games though since it's kind of annoying).
