64bit xp3000+ problems

have been having problems with battlefield 2 recently......it all happened after i overclockeed, i reset all the settings to default, and now the computer has random reezing in windows, on startup and in game....any ideas? have i fooked the processor???

did you overclock your RAM as well? You should check to see if your RAM is ok. Memtest86+ will do that.

Prime95 will check to see if your CPU is stable. It should be able to run it 12 hours straight without an error......if it can't do that at it's stock settings then, yeah I guess there's a chance you messed something up.

oh rite, well no i didnt do anything apart from the cpu. ive run memtest, with no result. I have done a stress test also...no problem. Im thinking about getting an x2....but i wana knw that this will work and i havent messed up anything else!
