If by the same, you mean the same procedure, then yes, it does, since they are both the same core and architecture.
However, if you mean the same limits and results then no, since the 3000+ nor the 3500+ has a documented "pattern" as far as overclocking results go. Each chip varies based on week and stepping number, as well as fab location. And even then, individual chips are all different and have different limits.
