Default 4Ghz Baby!!!

Bought a new little E7400 and have been playing around with it here and there but today i wanted to see if i could hit that magic 4 mark

Only thing holding my system back now is ram and my 1 vid card

That's awesome! I could never get mine that high, I wonder if it is my motherboard. What kind of motherboard do you use?

Burninator i'm using the ocz vendetta 2 which hasn't taken the chip above 62*c so far and that was after a couple hours of stress testing.

Eric1 i have an Asus p5n-d which is actually a pretty terrible board,The v-droop on it is insane even after a pencil mod.

the vdroop was horrible on my 680i up until i pencil modded it. now its only about .01v

Now that i think about it i guess mines not too bad.

Its only .03 with this cpu but my other E2200 i had in here it was some thing like .1+

Nice job getting it up to 4GHz! I wish I could get my e7300 up that high but my MoBo is bad for overclocking.

Getting to 4 was actually very easy with this chip,I'm amazed at how much of a beast these are.

Think i'll try another oc session again tomorrow and see just how high she can go
