Ok, I have a 4400+ and I have it Oced at 2.49 at 1.4 volts. Stock Voltage is 1.35. I ran Prime95 overnight with no errors. YAY!. but I dont know what the real temp was Everest tells me 49 C, while NV Monitor tells me it never went over 41 C in the night. I have no clue which one to go with. My BIOS also tells me lower temps than Everest shows. Which one is right? Im thinking that Everest is wrong because it shows very low temps of my GPU: idleing at 41 C and NV Monitor says 50 C. WTF?!

I also OCed my 7800GTX to 509/1403. So I had a pretty good overclocking night. Lol. Just one more question though. How could I improve the timings of my RAM. Currently they are at:
@200Mhz=3.0-3-3-8
@166Mhz=2.5-3-3-7
@133Mhz=2.0-2-2-6

I have heard that these arent great timings, and would like to speed up my RAM in any way possible. Thanks

P.S. I am going to lower the voltage down to 1.375 on the CPU and see if I can get it to run stable that way.

Just ran 3dMark05, got 7565. Which is a little dissapointing because I got 7175 stock. ::Sigh::

Hmmm... those scores look a bit on the lower side. My OCed 7800 GT with stock AMD 3800 x2 got around 7400. Plus, that score was with my I GB of **** ram. -Charlie

i know. i downclocked the video card to 495/1390 because i was getting mad artifacting in 3dMark05. I still have not figured out the temp. situation so if anyone has any ideas let me know. please. btw i have a thermaltake big typhoon. i also took the fsb on the cpu up to 230 and lowered the voltage to 1.375. i know i shouldnt have lowered the voltage but i just wanted to see what would happen. thanks

after downclock i got 7591 on 3dmark05, but with no artifacting so thats good. I really wanna break 8000. any suggestions? also need help on temp situation. thanks

I think all you can really do is keep overclocking and max it out. I dont know if your system/fans can handle more overclocking though. So to break 8000, I think that you might have to buy better cooling :/.

i got it to 2.47 on 1.4 volts. Prime95 stable for about 10 hours. Ran 3dMark05 and got 7642, slightly better. Im going to try and push my GPU a little further. Right now I'm at 495/1390. Or something like that. I can't check because I am running Prime95 on the comp at 2.53 and 1.425 volts.

Just checked the screen and Core 2 failed after 2 minutes. Well I gotta up the voltage I guess.

Right now, my temps are kinda low with my Thermaltake Big Typhoon. With Prime95 running on one core I'm at 40-42 C. Idle im sitting at 30-33 C. So im ok with my temps and I have no problem pushing the cpu farther. :)
