if it's not applied at start-up, then i don't think you're running at those speeds (i think)

New problem... I get this error message when I try to run 3DMark05 now...

"IDirect3DDevice9::Present failed: Device lost (D3DERR_DEVICELOST)"

I can't even test now... anyone know what's wrong?

The weird thing is though that I've run this program several times... and it won't work now?

Okay... downloaded DirectX 9.0c or whatever, and like you said Nubius about the lemons, now I get the blue screen of death when I start up... son of a gun. It is like every time I fix a problem, it gets worse. I think maybe I'm gonna reset the motherboard with jumpers and try system restore.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Okay, somehow I got rid of the darn blue screen and got my computer working again... and the best part is that the video card got a 4809 without being overclocked. So... here's how it is laying... I'm going to be happy with that for now because I don't want to repeat everything that just happened. GREAT
