the number in its name is what it should roughly be getting as in pc marks... so 3000+ is 3000+ pc marks... and so on so fourth

hrmm.. but then again, i coudl be thining of a different program

Hmm... I've never heard of that being the case, although if someone could chim in and help us out.

My thoughts are: The 3800+ is the CPU model number, and the PC Marks score is a full system score. They do tests on CPU but also graphics and other things, so I don't think its related.

well i don't know about the dual core, but i do know the single core number represents their p-rating... i don't think it was pc mark that gave a p rating so that was my mistake... and the instant i have my new compy running (in my sig) i'll be sure to try every cpu test there is
