o, I'm finally OC my gpu... 8800gt
Stock speed is 650/950 and 3dmark was 11 something when testing with folding running.
Bumped it to 670/970 and it scored a 11809 (4783,5134,3724)
680/980 was 11997 (4839,5238,3780)
690/990 gave 11986 (4827,5237,3783)
Looks good.. But now it all goes down literly.. Reran an it dropped 600 to
11353 (4386,5027,3787)
However noticed temp hit 74C so i upped the fan from 29% to 39% but score got worse:
11320 (4362,5019,3784) and temp hit 70ish
Ran at 695/995 and fan at 45%
11181 (4283,4986,3737) temp maxe at 66C
Let the gpu temp level out at 49C and reran at 695/995 and fan at 45%
11406 (4403,5052,3808)
Whats going on? and what constitutes a score? My first run ever was 12265 at stock of 650/950.
Oh, atitool does report my speed when they change, as does gpu-z.
Edit...... Seems running atitool as a temp monitor was my issue.
