Default 3d Mark06 Score...good or bad?

Well i just got my system up and running. See my sig for the components in the system.

I received a 3Dmark06 score of 4790. Is this around where it should be? How good is this in comparison to a AMD x2 system with a 7900gt?

an AIW card is never gonna be the best card for gaming since its designed for a multimedia system but 4790 is ok. I'm not sure what a 7900gt would get but it would most likely be higher by a little bit.

well the AIW x1900 has same specs as x1900xt/x with 256 mem and slower clock speeds. Pipes and shaders remain the same..

hmm i think your proc is stronger then mine isnt it? I think the 48 pixel shaders in the x1900 make it stronger then a 7900gt..

it doesn't actually have 48 pipelines, it's only 16 pipelines. it has 48 pixel shaders. it's kinda complicated, but basically, there's 3 pixel shaders per pipeline in the X1000 series cards
