I use 3D mark 03/05 as my primary benchmarking program for my video OCing. Here's my question:

I'll tweak my clock and memory and get a certain 3D Mark score. Then I'll tweak some more and get different scores. Then when I come back to the original clock and memory speed and test again I'll get a different score. This is frustrating because for example, I'll test a certain setting and get the highest score I've gotten yet. Then I push it some more and my score drops, so I put it back to the setting that gave me the highest score and the new score for that same setting is different (lower) than the first time I tested it. Why is this happening?

There are a million variables, its rare that you get the same score twice. you should always give your self a %error rate. After OCing anyways, everything gets warmer, slowing everything down. Just keep experimenting.
