I'll tell you, that benchmark is meant to stress the living shiite out of your computer. Don't count on a high score. It's not made to be easy.

Its definately the video card. The 6600GT, while able to play any game out there, doesn't have the necessary power to achieve a high score in 06. The 6600GT is a lower end/ budget gaming card.

Vybuni is right. 3DMark06 stresses the GPU more than practically any other program you can think of. I have a 7800GS and only score 3,321.

I only get 2699 with my Ultra.

Really? I get 4300 with mine. The CPU has a lot of influence in 06, mabey thats it.
