Default 3400???

Ok there is this deal going on at Fry's that i was told about from a friend and its with an Asus mobo and an AMD 3400 with a "Venus core" does he mean venice? I'm planning to buy the mobo combo soon so please reply =)

Generally those combos suck....the 3400+ is only ever listed in such combos, but meh, if you're planning on running stock and just want to upgrade then it won't be too bad

It won't be the best Asus either. I agree with Nubius, it won't be that bad.
