Default 120mm fan ontop of the computer case.

Did anybody mod an 120mm fan on the top of there computer case?

I just want to see what it looks like before i do that.

I dought it would look nice.

would be better if you had room to mount it on the inside of the case exhausing heat.. would just have to drill a bunch of holes in the case. I assume you do not have room for this?

My case has a blowhole, but it isn't a home-made project. It was an option (had to give up top mounted USB ports for it). I don't have a digital camera for pics, though.

To make a blowhole fan, just make sure you leave enough clearance around the PSU so the fan will fit.

that was in my old room. Not the greatest pics, but I was trying to get shots of the inside at the time not the fans. I do it more for function than to look cool. They need to cool my radiator.

dremel makes a compass tool for cutting circles i want to put a fan on top as well. i used the dremel w\the compass toll to cut a whole for an 80mm fan in two 5.25 expansion slot covers i just glued them together and cut the hol. so if u want perfect circle get this dremel add on def worth the money

I used what they call a "Nibbler" to nibble a hole in the top of my case and mounted a delta 120mm fan in there. I also put some rubber tubing on the edge so it looked clean.
