Problem:
When I play audio files( wav, mpeg, mp3 any type) from hard-disk in
any media player ( real, windows, music match) and copy something from
CD-ROM to Hard Disk. I face full disturbance in the audio.

Steps Taken To Resolve the issue:
1. Formatted the Hard Disk.
2 . Reloaded Windows XP SP2 OS.
3. Re-installed Audio Drivers.
4. Changed the CD-ROM jumper setting to Slave.
5. Un-installed the Anti-Virus software.
6. Changed the Bus connecting to CD_ROM, Hardisk, Mother board to 40
Pin from 80 Pin.

The Vendor, says this is a drawback in Intel(R) Desktop Board D945GNT
family. We cannot help.

is it onboard audio?

have you tried a dedicated soundcard instead?
