Problem with HL:2

After playing HL:2 DM for about an hour it just quit. I started again and my PC restarted its self. My system is PLEANTY fine for HL:2. What could the problem be? My CPU overheating?

that or the PSU.. It could also be the GPU acting up.

i would call either CPU or GPU overheating. it would help us plenty if you told us what system you are working with.

1024 RAM
Geforce 7600 GT BFG
Mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP-M Processor 2800+ 1.6

System specs are way lower. And my processor isn't great but way better than what it calls for. Also, sometimes when I play HL:2 normally the mouse will lock up or it will just keep going forward uncontrolably, which really sucks. But that's the only time that it does it.

is anything overclocked? or are you just running stock on everything. and just in your space time, do a quick virus/spyware check with spybot search and destroy.

You forgot to mention the Power Supply

possibly could be, runnig a xpm 2800+, and a 7600GT.

whats your current psu wattage?
