Hi all, I want to breath some new gaming life into my old XP 2400 rig. It has an NF2 mobo and 512mb PC2700 (soon to be 1gig).

Currently it has an FX 5200 which was pretty much the most money I ever wasted on computer hardware. I need an upgrade that will let me play more modern games at decent settings. I know I wont accomplish anything stellar with this setup, but mediocracy will do just fine.

Also it has to fit my budget which is approximately 100 dollars, but I can give a little if its worth it.

Currently the two contenders for the upgrade are: (from newegg)

-Powercolor Radeon 9800 pro (128mb)

-XFX Geforce 7300GT (256mb)

My instinct tells me to just grab the 9800 because i've used them before and I know they are good cards, but is the 7300GT worth the added cost? Also, what are the PS requirements for the 7300GT?

So which is the better buy? I'm sure there are some good cards that im overlooking, anybody know of them?

Thanks in advance for your help.
