Laptop burner

I try to use my girlfriend's laptop to burn dvd with Nero, but it cannot recognize any dvd burner..

In Choose recorder windows,it said: Image recorder - virtual devices.


How can I change iit so that i can burn dvd with it ?

from PC wizard : it said the dvd burner is TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L532A

Are you using the latest version of Nero?Have you tried with any other dvd burning software?

no i dont think is the latest version of Nero . The other program i use is NTI Cd, DVD maker ( come with the laptop )

with NTI , it recognized the dvd burner and burn the dvd without problem, but after burn , when i try to play it - seems cannot read it
