I am having a problem with my svchost.exe that is connected to my audio. When windows boots up, after about a minute, my computer is really slow for about 5 min. When you go into the task manager, svchost.exe is running right around 100% If you end the task everything catches up and is just fine. The only problem is i have to then go install my sound drivers again. Also when i am playing a video in windows media player, my svchost.exe running extreamly high. Sometimes it causes the video to play slower than the audio. I reinstalled windows a few weeks ago because of this problem but it is still happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PCScnSrv.exe causes svchost to bloat / steal the CPU randomly, as I bought this terrible AV and figured it out.
Though what are the odds you use it...I wonder.
Oh, and re their response blaming SpyBot ... that's bull as well, as I had not installed that since reformatting...
Warez PC-cillin 2006 and use the 2007 key, and it works normal.

Update windows, if that doesn't work. Try a reformat and reinstall.
