Will This be a big Improvement?

k well i wanna know if i will see alot of changes in games, and if my compujter will be alot faster

Current Rig:

AMD Sempron 2400+ Socket A (i think)
80gb HDD IDE
Nvidia fx5500 256mb agp
512ram (2x 256)


New Rig:

AMD Athlon 3800+ Socket 939
160gb HDD Sata
Nvidia 7600GS PCI-E 16x 256mb
1gb Corsair ram (2x 512)

Mainly i play Enemy territory get around 50-150 fps in that and in counter strike source i got 10-30 fps, just wanna know what id get around now and if it would be alot faster with these new things
and yes im getting a new motherboard but i forgot the name of it

Meh, its definitely a lot better, and will let you play those games pretty well, but the 7600GS is starting to go the way of the 6600GT now.

But yeah, its definitely an improvement.

and im deciding over 7300GT or 7600GS both 256mb PCI-E

so far ive gone and brought a motherboard. now i didnt need any fancy SLI so i got this.. is this a good motherboard?

Yeah you will see a performance increase thats for sure i would try and get a tiny bit more money and get a 7600GT there great cards and cheap, it will play all top games on medium settings

Go with the 7600 over the 7300.

According to that review, it's a little slow. You might want to check to see if Gigabyte has put out a BIOS update for it. if they have, it might help it out a bit.

Other than that, it looks like a good board.
