then your only option is to try a windows repair it should work, normally you should do a fresh install of xp but Im guessing you never partitioned the drive?

Alright well could I just get a new hard drive and access the old one later with the ways you and Nukem showed me?

Yeah that would be best but also you could try the windows repair too.
