A question regarding my upcoming build: would it be beneficial for me to include a Zalman 9500 CPU cooler for the following:

MOBO: EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR Socket T NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Socket T, LGA 775
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz LGA 775
Case: Antec Nine Hundred http://www.nextwarehouse.com/item/?294813

Thanks!

9700

That would help a lot with the temps, but get the 9700 zalman. I got mine for 45$ from newegg with 35$ instant savings. It was cheaper than the 9500 when i got it.:)

It has a 110 mm fan and will work on your socket. You can get a orangish one with a blue led or a black one with a green led fan. It is really good and comes with a fan controller.

I didn't notice any temp difference yet, but i run games for 2 hours with the fan turned all the way down and the temps don't change. I am sure it will help as soon as i start OC'ing.
Make sure to get some Arctic Silver 5.
