Radeon x800xl or x1600pro?

i have a pentiumD 3.4ghz,1g ram and a ati radeon x800xl 256meg pci-e video card.
i cannot plaqy splinter cell double agent with that card cuz it as shader model 2.0 and not 3.0.
i am checking to buy an ati radeon or sapphire radeon x1600pro 512meg pci-e.
will it be a good choice over my current card?
any other suggestion?no to expensive there please.

X1600pro is not good card.

get at least 7600GT or 7900GS

Even the 7600GS is better than X1600pro

the x800 is better than the x1600 i think :amazed:. maroom1 has a point. if i were you i would check out a 7600GS.

i bought a 7300gt instead of the 7600gs, and im not regretting that decisions. The little ******* ocs well beyond any 7600gs oced performance
