Performance Difference?

What's the performance difference between a AMD x2 3800+ skt939 at 3ghz and a AMD 64 4000+ skt939 at 3ghz?

The X2 3800+ would beat the 4000+, especially in multitasking.

The person I bought the cpu from got to 2.9ghz no problem on stock cooling. With my thermaltake big typhoon, I think I can do it.

Sure you can get 2.9 GHz but I seriously doubt it was Prime Stable for at least 2 hours.

My goal now is 3ghz on an amd x2 3800+ for 12 hours prime95 stable. My amd 4000+ idles at 27 degrees celcius and maxes out at 37 degrees celcius right now so well see.
