For just a few bucks more, you can do even better.

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice

Mobo:
Foxconn 6100K8MA-RS Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX (w/ AGP if you have an AGP vid card)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813186085

ASUS A8V-MX Socket 939 VIA K8M800 Micro ATX (w/PCI-E, but I doubt you have a PCI-E card)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131558

CPU + Foxconn mobo = $113.49 ($103.49 after MIR)
CPU + ASUS mobo = $111.49

Both mobos have onboard graphics (in case that's what you're using anyway).

The main drawback to this route is that you'd have to reinstall Windows and everything else on your hard drive (just make backups of all your data before you do it).

EDIT: These are microATX mobos because I didn't know what you needed, and most prebuilts (HP, Dell, Gateway, eMachines) use micro boards.

Thnx, all the info given has been great help, but I'm looking forward on getting the pentium 4. Can anyone plz help me out on getting a mobo. I'm pretty much what you call a first time computer builder. Here are the spec's for the mobo, if you are willing to help.
-- 2x184-pin(or x4 idc)
-- At 'least' 1 PCI-E slot.
--Scoket T (LGA775)
--DDR 400 (PC 3200)
--ATX
--Onboard sound,
--No Onboard Video. (Got a Grpahics Card)

I'm pretty much thinking not many ppl (nobody) will do this, so just if u have some time on your hands plz help me build my first build ty.

-All information is helpful

If you don't want to go with AMD, that's OK. But why go with a P4? Not only are they dead, but they are the lowest available (outside of Semprons and Celerons). I'm not trying to insult, but I really, really don't understand...

Yep no point in going P4 unless you are getting it practically free from a friend or something.

O, what would be a good choice for a CPU, that would be mainly for gaming, not for like hardcore gaming, but just like cs and warcraft games like those. I'm hoping for a pretty decent one, but also afordable for a budget. Prolly price range about 100-200$ Ty.
