Corsair Dominator DDR2

Have been thinking about buying either a http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/products/specs/TWIN2X2048-8500C5D.pdf
or the
http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/products/specs/TWIN2X2048-8500C5.pdf

It seems to me that the only difference beween these two is that the Dominator has got the badass heatsink which you have to pay 50$ for.

Anyone that can confirm this?

Actually I believe the price tag on newegg.com is not so different between the two. When I bought my Dominator 4-4-4-12s, they were only $15 more than the regular XMS2. When the Dominators go on special, the price is even closer.

Anyway I am going 100% watercooled and have been thinking about making some custom cooling blocks for the DDR and to seal the computer to avoid dust so I don't think the dominator sink will give me much.

I hope it goes well. I'm going the air route since I don't feel well tampering with water inside my rig. I'll probably end up putting some dominator fans on top of my RAM.
