pressing E on the keyboard brings up the € sign

My keyboard has gone all weird all of a sudden. I have to open up and use the on-screen kb every time I need to type an E.

Anyone know what the problem could be ?

Probably a bad keyboard. Save up 10 bucks and pick one up at your local computer shop.

Make sure your language properties are all correct, sounds like you have a different currency set or language.

start>control panel>regional language and settings

make sure everything is set to your regional settings make sure to click all the advanced or properties buttons to check them settings too.
