help needed for buying laptop suitable for gaming

hi, i don't really know much about computers but i've been told that you can't use shared video memory for playing high graphic games. can anyone give me some advice as to what sort of specs i need on a laptop and any models for example? thanks

Gaming + laptop = expensive + heat

Look for a system with something besides integrated graphics... like any of the nVidia Go series and whatever ATI's is called.

If in doubt as to whether the graphics are integrated, just remember that if it says Intel graphics, they're crap. Anything else you'll need to Google if you're unsure.

u just need a laptop with enuf PCI/PCIe slots.
Yeah, an ATI Mobility card... some say that even an IGP (Integrated Graphics) can run some cool games, Doom 3 perhaps...
