E6600 or X6800

Knowing that the X6800 is much better will i notice much of a difference going from the e6600 to the x6800. I do not plan on overclocking anytime soon untill i upgrade my colling to water. So should i just stick with the e6600 and wait or is it worth it to invest in the x6800?

There will be a difference but it won't be that noticable. The e6600 is fine.

There is a difference between the E6600 and the X6800, but that difference sure isn't worth almost 700 dollars more.

Yea get the e6600. Then just overclock it.

If you got the cash and you want the braggin' rights, go for the x6800.

The e6600 is no slacker either.

It really comes down to personal prefference. You won't see a huge difference in performance.

I've seen some of your posts and know you like to overclock, but why is your E6600 at 3.0ghz?
