1100KW, ... wow that is way too much

I have the same kind of LITE-ON drive and I haven't had any problems. I haven't used the lightscribe feature on it yet. Just stick with a single 150GB Raptor.

And if you have that much money to spend, and don't have a floppy around I would get one just in case you need one.

Get a better case. Look into an Antec or a Coolermaster.

Get a cheaper power supply. No one needs that much juice.

Get a cheaper CPU. No one needs that much power unless you are overclocking, or you plan to keep it for years to come.

And DONT get that usb adapter. Get an internal wifi card. There is one that is 100 dollars on that site that is meant to go with that set that is said to have the same connection as a hard wire.

And for god sakes, with all that crap in there, get watercooling.

You seem to have the budget, spend it on the right things.

The X6800 was never worth the price. Just to up the multiplier. The QX6700 actually provides better performance with the same price. But I can't see you needing anywhere near that power. If you're that rich and don't need that power, beans computer is perfect for you.

It saddens me that you buy a computer that you really dont need like that. I bust my a$$ working to get a comp near that power, that I actually NEED and then people like you just come in and say "Yep spending $10000 here"...

Sorry, but I just really don't understand people like that.

Better case, Coolermaster was sugested, how about this- CoolerMaster Stacker 830 Mid-Tower 420W Case W/ Side-panel Window

Cheaper PS- Thermaltake ToughPower 750 Watt Power Supply $119 cheaper

or

Tagan EasyCon XL Series 700Watt Power Supply (SLI-Ready)(Tagan EasyCon XL Series 700Watt Power Supply $130 cheaper

I have been told if i dont know enough about water cooling it isnt wise to get it. I understand its far superior but i would want to take the risk of a leak. I plan to upgrade to water cooling once i feel i am educated enough to tackle the job on my own.

I do plan on not upgrading my cpu for a long time that is the main reason i am spending what i am spending, not anywhere 10,000, cvb724. But more like 4200.

and more than likely i'll just stick with my network cark and worry about getting wireless some other time.

I prefer wired to wireless anyway. If my router/modem weren't halfway across my apartment I would hook it up through wired. I tested the speeds and with wireless I get 3200/650 kbps and wired 5400/620 kbps. Tried several routers/adapters too.

Sorry, but I just really don't understand people like you who have to rip on people just because they are buying an expensive computer. If he wants a powerful computer, let him have it. Who cares.
