looking for some better PC sound

hey i'm looking to maybe buy a soundcard in the 75-100 dollar range to help improve my PC headphone sound. right now i'm using Sennheiser HD 280's and a really basic soundcard (how do you find out what kind of card your comp came with ?) so some suggestions would be nice

Your computer prob came with just onboard sound (intergrated into your motherboard).

I suggest:

x-fi fatility
or
x-fi xtremeMusic

The fatility is $96 after mail-in-rebate, and get it if you can spend the $125 at the moment. If not, then the xtremeMusic will be a good soundcard too.

Get an Audigy 2 ZS. They are fantastic.

omg general i was going to say the same thing since it was at the lower end of his budget but i don't see them on newegg anymore, only the platium version?!?

i would chose btw the ones i posted. They are the best sound cards in your buget. I don't think the audigy 2 zs will come back into stock, but the x-fi's are the newer soundcards anyways.
