Powercut killed my computer?

Please clarify. is your pc actually not turning on? From your first post all i got is the light blinks too much.

I once had this and it turned out that there was indeed a short in the power button. I got it replaced for a few bucks and it worked again.

I got a new power supply unit after checking with my bro's and it works. It was cheap
